I have about a bazillion engagement sessions to blog dating all the way back to last fall, and I will blog them and soon. But I just finished editing these of Chris and Michaela from last weekend so I wanted to start here.

They were game for just about anything for their engagement session, which is only one of hundreds of ways these two are just the best. We started at a laundromat and together sang along to Wilson Phillips (no, really, all three of us) on the way out east for some different scenery. After some exploring in evening wear, we talked weddings and politics on the drive back to town.

Both Chris and Michaela so refreshingly comfortable in their own skin. She is a class act mixed with the perfect amount of cuteness. He has boundless energy and could charm his way through any English or Spanish speaking country on this planet. She is their social director, he is their DJ. They fell in love over a Jimmy Dean commercial and music and together they laugh their way through the world.

I simply cannot wait for their day in September, when the south will meet the mountains and I won’t be the only one shaking some serious tail feathers on the dance floor. Congrats, Chris and Michaela! Thanks for simply being rad.
