jeremy met amy through mutual friend at a ranch near kansas city. they were miles apart, but amy made him laugh in their numerous phone calls and he just kinda…knew. these two have such a clear respect for each other, one made of acceptance and encouragement and patience. she was never really into the horses that are such an important part of his life. but she’s learning, overcoming fears and loving these animals as much as he does because he does.

jeremy’s horse pepper (lighter brown paint horse) and pepper’s friend joker (darker brown paint horse) joined us for the shoot. they were an unpredictable but stunning addition.

these two are getting hitched in 10 days in amy’s home in illinois. congratulations! i can’t wait to hear about the fabulous, location-a-surprise-to-amy honeymoon!

i’m in love with everything about this one, from how she’s crossing her feet to the trees to how she fits right on his shoulder to how they are framed by the horses. swoon times 5.
