we continued the shoot one week later. rain still threatened, and did run us out again (we’ll pop the champagne some other time), but i’m thrilled with what we got in the time mother nature allowed.

nic and dom go to vegas every chance they get. so we decided to play on that as a theme. this is my first fully “styled” shoot and i think it went pretty well.

friends and family of the happy couple: be sure to ‘vote’ for your favorite images by clicking ‘love this’ under any image you particularly fancy. at the end of the year, the clients whose image receives the most votes will get a little something. or a big something. i haven’t decided yet.

the vintage luggage? yeah, they gave it to me afterward. i think it’ll take me far.

i posted the color version of this yesterday. equally, if not more, stunning in b&w. would you guys be weirded out if i printed this on a huge canvas and hung it over my bed? no? good.

i had them each think of a word that describes the other. the point was to take the photo without the other seeing. but they cheated and talked about it beforehand, discovering they had both chosen the same word. meant-to-be indeed. congratulations, you two. i can’t wait for your wedding in the fall.
